Zeppelin Reimelt invests in Germany to operate new food technology center

The economizer is responsible for the recovery of heat from the Process Gas of the Nitric Acid Production Unit and comes from the Expander of the Compression Unit. Its installation is in the exhaust chimney. In it, the Boiler Water (BFW) is heated by hot gas with a thermal load of 4,700 MKal / Hour.

For Bardella S.A. Indústria Mecânica, major equipment manufacturer for the oil & gas area, ZEPPELIN SYSTEMS fabricated, in its modern plant located in the ABC region of São Paulo, a pressure vessel with a volume of 5 m3, made of aluminum alloy 5052-O and 25,4 mm thick plates.

Highlight at the event was the exhibit of a tubular heat exchanger, specially designed for the pharmaceutical industry. Its mechanical concept avoids any chance of contamination, a problem often related to conventional heat exchangers.

Zeppelin Reimelt GmbH plans, develops, manufactures and installs process - technological systems for the handling of powdered, viscous and liquid raw materials as well as mixers for the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, plastics processing and chemical industries.

The use of an exhaust system coupled with a dedusting system provided with fabric filters is very important to industries that release polluting particles to the air. Mostly the powder retained in the filter is reused in the manufacturing process, a fact that helps to shorten the return time of the investment. Another important aspect is that the absence of pollution, apart from protecting the environment, also avoids labor processes motivated by unhealthful activities.
