Rödermark, March 23, 2018: Extremely fast, dust-free and homogeneously mixed - these are the key factors in industrial dough production. The high-speed mixer DymoMix from Rödermark’s dough experts from “Zeppelin plant engineering” meets these requirements with flying colours and with low energy consumption. At the Anuga FoodTec 2018, the leading international trade fair for food and beverage technology, the DymoMix was awarded the International FoodTec Award in silver.

At the Anuga FoodTec 2018 trade fair in Cologne on March 20, 2018, the “Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft (DLG)” honoured 17 laureates in total out of approx. 100 registered companies for technical innovations and further developments that make food technology particularly future-proof, sustainable and efficient. The international jury of experts awarded the Zeppelin Group one of twelve silver medals and thus the award for product optimizations which allow a significant improvement of the function or the process.

Michael Piepenbrock, Head of the Business Unit Food Processing Plants of “Zeppelin plant engineering” located in Rödermark, is pleased about the appreciation by the experts. "The constant fulfillment of our customers' demands and the anticipation of future challenges in the food production form the guidelines of our product development which we test in our fully equipped test center under real conditions and elaborate to perfection. The new DymoMix is the result of continuous work in the test center in order to increase the cost-effectiveness and user-friendliness of individual components in the system". The FoodTec Award confirms the market-focused approach and the pioneering role of the Zeppelin Group in the field of mixing technology.

Even faster and dust-free to a homogeneous mass

The DymoMix works according to an innovative wetting principle as a pre-mixer for doughs produced in batches and continuously, which are later served to the consumer as pastry goods, fresh and long-life bakery products or are consumed as a "to go" product. The high-speed mixer replaces its predecessor with a variety of improved performance values. Less space requirement and enormous time saving of more than 50 percent during subsequent kneading ensure a significant increase of cost-effectiveness. Users are also pleased about the further reduced concentration of flour dust in the working environment, an easy handling and simple and quick cleaning. A newly developed nozzle in the rotating shaft of the DymoMix makes the difference. It builds up a fine, continuous liquid screen. The powdery components are wetted with water resp. oil when passing through the liquid screen so that a homogeneous mixture is generated immediately. Both very firm and almost liquid doughs can be processed efficiently with the DymoMix. Noodle, bread and roll doughs, as well as doughs for pastries, are areas of application for the award-winning pre-mixer.
