Bag Filter
Description
The bag filter is used in conveying and handling systems to capture particulate materials in powder and pellet.
Whenever powdered or pelleted products are handled, there is an imminent risk of environmental contamination by particulate material.
Bag filters are intended to retain particles that can mix with the external environment and prevent this risk.
The cleaning system can be activated automatically, resulting in lower consumption of compressed air.
Filters can be used in both classified and non-classified areas.
Aplication
The bag filters can be used on top of silos, hoppers, scales, bin vents, among other equipment.
The filters can be supplied in circular or rectangular section.
It is also important to mention that there is the possibility of building a dedusting system to collect the fine dust particulates from various collection points in a factory, to serve large-scale pneumatic systems.

Dust Plenum - where air mixed with particles is trapped.

Filter Element - this is the element where the particles that can not be released in the environment have been retained.

Clean Plenum - in this location there is air from the transport already cleaned by the filtration process.

Compressed air tank - where compressed air is reserved.

Controler - triggers the solenoids when necessary.

Solenoid Valves - Valves that control the long air and, when activated, clean the filter elements that are already saturated with residues.
Process
As particulates enter the filter and pass through the filter elements, it retains the particulate material and releases the clean air into the atmosphere.
This process saturates the filtering element with the particulate material, and over time makes it difficult to pass air and increases the pressure difference between the dirty and clean sides. Here, we suggest the Intelli-filter, a Zeppelin product that measures and interprets this information and activates the cleaning of the filtering elements automatically, cleaning through reverse air pulses only when necessary.
The use of filters, besides saving products that will no longer go to the external environment, is extremely necessary for environmental and work safety, which makes it an important element for the correct functioning of manufacturing plants, since the legislation determines that a producer does not can let the particulate content of its production leave the external environment in a free form.
